Q:Where are you based and do you travel?
I live in Bloomington, IL. Smack dab in between Chicago & St. Louis. Because of that, I count the three of those as home markets. What does that mean? No extra traveling expenses! However, I am constantly traveling out of state for my clients - I make it affordable and worth it to book me for your destination wedding.
Q: Do you work internationally?
YES! I travel around the world for work and recreation regularly. I offer very generous discounts for international work including elopements, destination weddings and adventure sessions.
Q: Will there be a second photographer on our wedding day?
YES! I am a firm believer that two is better than one. I hire the best second photographers - professionals who know the industry and will work just as hard as me to make your day perfect.
Q: How many photos do we get?
Here’s the thing - no two weddings are the same. I’m a huge believer in quality over quantity and aim to deliver the best gallery possible to tell the story of your big day. All that being said, you can expect 50-100 photos per hour of shooting.

Q: I am so awkward in front of the camera! Is that okay?
First of all - YOU ARE GREAT! You should know that everyone feels at least somewhat awkward in front of the camera - it’s normal. Here’s where Native Among You Photography stands out from the rest. I want to know you, what makes you laugh, why you are in love and I want ALLLLLL of that to come out in the photos. Our time together consists of very little posing and more laughing & enjoying the moment. No matter how awkward you feel - those photos always look great!
Q: What rights do we have for the photos?
With each wedding collection, you receive a print release that allows you to print & create anything you’d like with the photos you receive. You are allowed to share the magic all over social media as well. You just aren’t able to edit the photos or sell them for commercial use!
Q: How do you deliver the photos and video once you are done?
You’ll have access to a high resolution online photo and video galleries that will allow you to mark your favorites, download your gallery straight onto your computer and share with those closest to you!
